I am beyond impressed with the care and service provided by AVMC. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. The veterinarians, veterinary technicians and the whole team are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough in their examinations. They take the time to explain every detail and answer all of our questions, ensuring we understand the best course of action for our pet's health. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and equipped with the latest technology, which further instills confidence in their capabilities. Our dog receives the highest level of care here, and we always leave feeling reassured and grateful. AVMC truly sets the standard for veterinary excellence. I highly recommend
them to anyone seeking exceptional veterinary care for their furry family members.

My Fuzzy-Butt had severe mouth infection and extensive teeth extractions. They did a phenomenal job and he healed up quickly and is doing fantastic now. The staff and veterinarians are awesome ?

Overall really good experience here. Front desk staff is really good. Dr Connie (sp?) sucks though, but he may be gone now. If he's still there, ask for a different doctor. He got my cats condition wrong on multiple occasions, giving me information from another cats chart. Also very abrasive personality and too rough with how he handles pets.

The staff at this office are so sweet and wonderful. They are always helpful and remember my pet. We even had an emergency with our dog having seizures and they were there to help him right away. Kelly saved the day today, yet again. You can tell they really care about your pet!

Called in for a spay, this place actually trying to charge me $600, exam fee not even covered. Went to FORPAWS in Fremont got it done for $160 with everything covered. Who in the right mind would pay $600 for a spay is insane, I don’t care how “advanced” you claim your clinic is, there’s always other vet clinics that will do it for cheaper and more affordable out of love for animals not just for the money. wrong neighborhood you’re in.

I've always had a great experience with AVMC and my Ziggy has been going here for years. I adore Jeric, the patient care coordinator as well as the other staff members. Always greeted with a smile when I walk in and on the phone. Ziggy had a mass that was growing on his tail, which was high risk. Other Vets suggested that I prepare to say goodbye to my almost 18 year old Chihuahua. Dr. Connie reassured me that he was confident that he could surgically remove it, take all the necessary tests to clear him for his operation. Cardiac and blood test cleared him and staff let me know Ziggy would be under anesthesia for minimal time (45 mins). One month later, fully recovered. He's walking, eating, going to the bathroom on a regular. I'm so blessed to have more time with my lil senior boy. Thank you AVMC!! I appreciate you all more than you know.

I've been coming to this place for over 4 years and most of the time I've had a pleasant experience. I've been blessed with great veterinarians, however I've had one vet that wasn't compatible with my cat. I let the office know my concern and they were accepting and kind enough to accommodate my cats needs.

Now for the staff, each and every one has been so helpful and knowledgeable. But the standout star is Jeric!!! I had an issue with prescription for food and he worked tirelessly to make it work. He was patient, kind, and put himself in my shoes. Without his calm nature, I would have had a nervous breakdown. I will stay loyal to this business.

I have 3 rescue dogs of varying ages and breeds. My oldest one is about 14 and last week I was checking her terrible teeth (she has some fractured teeth) and noticed one was very loose and gray, definitely needed to be pulled. I had not had her teeth worked on previously because my last two vets were unsure about the anesthesia risk, that she might be too old. I checked online and it seemed I really should get her tooth pulled at this point, the pain they live with can be masked. I moved to California last year so I hadn’t found a vet yet.. I went onto Yelp and begin checking to see about vets. I had one recommend to me at work but the Yelp reviews were only 4 outa 5 and some of the comments were concerning so I kept looking. That’s when I found AVMC. They have great yelp reviews so I made an appointment to see Dr.Caprio that Monday. When I met him I found him to be very informative and professional. He explained that dogs can be in pain and still eat and act normal, he asked me to weigh the thought of her living her last years in pain versus risk of anesthesia. He said he would run bloodwork and use a safer form of anesthesia but that he felt comfortable in working on older dogs but the bloodwork would tell him if her insides were healthy. He also reviewed her ear infection and eye infection and made suggestions. I agreed to his treatment plan and he took my dog in the back for bloodwork, urine and eye test along with an ear cleaning. When he came back he told me what he found with the eye and we discussed treatments for her ear and eye along with the fact he would call me when he gets the bloodwork back. I started to use the medicine for my dog and her eyes and ears got better within a couple days, I could tell she was much more active and alert, I think the infections limited her eyesight and hearing or caused pain.  On Wednesday the doctor called me and explained the bloodwork showed everything was normal and he felt very comfortable in pulling the teeth based on her internal health. I scheduled for this past Monday and dropped her off at 930 for surgery at 12pm. While I was there we reviewed what would happen and I asked him about a tumor and some skin tags that we had briefly discussed in the previous vet visit. He agreed he could also remove the tumor and skin tags safely. I kissed my baby goodbye and hoped for the best. They called me at 230pm to tell me surgery went well and that my dog could be picked up. I went in to pick her up at 5pm she looked wonderful, she was alert and walking around and yeah, she wanted to get outa there, but she looked great. Dr Caprio ended up removing 5 teeth, one calcified tumor on her back a large skin tag and two smaller moles/tumors on her tail that were growing. They also clipped her nails and the teeth looked cleaned! I really felt like they gave me the VIP treatment! They gave me medication to give her and today she seems normal and is walking/eating like usual. Based on this experience I would not hesitate to take my dog in for surgeries like teeth extractions/ tumor extractions or other ailments. My dog looks and I am sure will be feeling better and that is PRICELESS. And to add to the other comments, yes, his prices are very reasonable and less than I had been quoted at two other vets for the same procedures. It’s amazing to me that I spent twice the amount with other vets for tests that told resulted in NOTHING and he SOLVED her issues for half the amount. Not only do I recommend this veterinarian I HIGHLY suggest NOT to put off treatments for your dog, my only regret is not finding a vet who could SOLVE her issues sooner.
