I have been coming here for years. The last few cleanings have been by totally different hygienist. Yesterday was the worst I’ve ever had. Paul Mumbled the entire time. I had no idea if he was talking to me or talking to himself or it’s just a nervous tick that he has. Very annoying.. He poked my gums several times… my mouth is so sore. I couldn’t have dinner last night, this morning the same thing. I took some pain meds to try to reduce the pain and the swelling with my sore gums. I informed the receptionist that I would not be back to see Paul again. And if this my first Visit I would never use this clinic ever again. In the past, I proudly referred people to this clinic. I probably won’t be doing that. I love the doctors. As another review, had they Definitely needed some training. Not sure if it was his first day or not.

I have been looking for high quality and affordable dentist for a year. Tried a few. Wasn't satisfied. Then my friend suggested to try Dr. Hitzel's office as he had a great experience with them. I did and and just had my root canal done. Very smooth, effective and high quality job. Other two dentists told me I need to pull the tooth out even though one if them just put an new cown on it. This was the only dentists who was willing to safe my tooth. Great job, great price, I found my dentist.

Let me preface by saying I love the dental staff.
The front office staff on the other hand are HORRIBLE. I needed a crown and was waiting for approval from my insurance company, I called after 2 weeks for the billing person to tell me I was denied and I had to call my insurance company to find out why. My insurance company denied my claim because the dentist office put in a duplicate claim. Then I was scheduled for a deep cleaning and I came in and the hygienist told me I didn’t need a deep just an extra cleaning throughout the year. I received a bill for $78 and I called and was directed to the office manager. I explained the situation and she said that the chart notes did not say he didn’t perform the deep cleaning so there was nothing she could do. She did not offer to look into the situation, didn’t even care. We kind of got into it a little but I did ultimately end up paying for a service I did not receive. I get that people try to get free service but clearly there is a problem with the front office management.

Everyone there was so nice and very professional I have been to many Dentists offices but my visit there were the best, I would like to give them 100 stars. Everyone there is so professional and kind, respectful of your condition. The office is very clean the vibe is very comfortable and peaceful I can go on and on but it all boils down to I love going there.

Always professional, friendly, and efficient. Dr Hitzel and dental assistants are outstanding, but admin people do not know how to handle insurance payments for patients. Need to keep after them to get refund check.

My experience was great so far! Natalie kept me calm and explained everything in advance to keep me settled. Dr. Reznik made me feel comfortable and kept me updated the entire time I was in the chair. Very pleased with my visit. I have many more to go due to my dental issues, so looking forward to knowing them better!! I highly recommend Hitzel/Champagne Dental!

Rescheduled my appointment for eight July much improved new person at the front desk. My longtime hygienist was there and it was a great overall experience when Dr. Hitzel came in and checked everything out.

Long time patient of Dr. Hitzel. He is great; however, his current staff needs serious training. My original appointment was cancelled at 0730 two weeks ago when Tia (?) called in with a family emergency. The office said they would call to reschedule when the staff arrived. Two weeks later, no call, so I called. Amanda (?) set 28 July 1000 for my cleaning. I checked in at 0950. A patient was checking out at the window and he asked the desk "what is the name of the hygienist that took care of me" Patricia" the patient said make a note on my file to never let her clean my teeth again, or my kids. Amanda came out in the lobby and asked my name, went back behind the window with Patricia at her side. They talked a brief moment and then said Patricia is going to take care of you. I said no, where is Tia. "She doesn't work on Friday"-I got a little huffy -wasted two mornings--since I was not going to let Patricia clean my teeth after the previous patient told me as he was walking out the door-do not let Patricia clean your teeth. "She is rough, stuck me twice"
So I asked to speak with Dr. Hitzel, but he was with a patient. I did not make an appointment before I left the office, but I will next week since I want Dr. Hitzel to be my dentist. He is a great dentist.

Dr Hitzel again listened to my concerns and was the voice of reason that I needed before choosing the next steps for my dental care. Thank you for yet another positive experience.
