Belgian Air Force Days 2023, een geslaagde maar warme editie. Grote drukte, met wel wat wachtrijen. Verder zeer goed georganiseerd met voldoende infostanden. Zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken.

we hebben er 2 uur overgedaan om van parking A met de shuttle tot op het terrein te geraken, s' avonds nog erger, hele straat vol wachtenden op weg naar opstappunt bussen.. in de hitte, heb iemand zien flauwvallen, parking B aan de ingang kon gerust die bussen ontvangen, heel heel jammer dat hierover niet beter nagedacht is. The experience of volunteering in healthcare during the aviation show at Kleine Brogel Air Base in Belgium was exceptionally positive. From the outset, the organization demonstrated thorough planning, providing volunteers with comprehensive training that prepared them to deal with a wide range of situations. Coordination between the health team and the event organizers was fluid, ensuring that all needs were met efficiently and effectively.

During the event, volunteers had the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real situations, contributing directly to the well-being of participants. Communication between the different support teams, including safety and firefighters, was impeccable, which enabled quick and adequate care in all occurrences. In addition, the medical resources made available were more than enough to meet the demand, ensuring that everyone involved felt safe and well cared for.

The volunteers not only broadened their skills and knowledge, but also felt valued by the organization, which recognized and celebrated their efforts. Participation in the gala at the end of the event was the perfect closure, providing a moment of celebration and recognition, as well as an excellent opportunity for networking and strengthening ties with other professionals and volunteers.

Mooie open dag gehad. Wel druk. Organisatie had beter gekund. Vooral lange wachtrijen bij in en uitgaan (naar de bussen). Nederland gratis. Hier bijna 30 euro. Show in Nederland is normaliter spectaculairder. Toch 5 sterren. Genoeg eet en drink gelegenheid, niet al te druk op het gras en fijne sfeer.

First time at Belgian Air Force Days, totally loved it! Organizers did a very good job countering the enormous heat: free water stations, plenty of drinks and ice cream options, enough space in the shade along the tree line; also, the whole area was kept clean at all times and it was not overcrowded, you could always find a couple of seats at the tables beside the food stalls.
